Most product feeds follow the same rulebook: stack the attributes and trust the algorithm. We chose a different approach. By replacing technical specs with benefit-driven titles that spoke to how consumers actually search, we drove a 21% annual increase in clicks across four test markets without adding more budget.
Benefit-driven product titles matched modern search, generating a 21% increase in clicks annually across four test markets.
Enriched feeds delivered ads that found the right shoppers, lifting conversions by 33%, because they matched real purchase intent.
A four-market pilot grew into an ongoing partnership as s360 now manages Paid Search across 40+ markets.
RevolutionRace is one of Sweden’s fastest-growing outdoor clothing brands, a direct-to-consumer company with a SEK 2 billion turnover operating in over 40 markets.
Like most e-commerce, though, its product titles followed the standard industry approach, known as attribute stacking, producing titles like “Trousers – Polyester – Black – Women – S.” That’s technically accurate. Still, it tells a potential customer nothing about whether those trousers hold up on a muddy trail, dry quickly in the rain, or move comfortably on a climb.
We were brought in to increase its online visibility, focusing on Paid Search across four test markets: Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and Sweden. Our audit revealed where the opportunity lay: shifting from specs-led product titles to benefit-driven ones that matched how shoppers actually search.
We came in with a good foundation and big ambitions. What we didn't expect was how much further we could go with a partner that is driven by bold thinking, rigorous testing, and the confidence to act on what the data told us.
The solution was to stop describing what a product is and start describing what it does, applying AI to do this consistently across thousands of products at once.
At the heart of our approach is s360 Quantum, our proprietary AI feed enhancement tool. Rather than manually rewriting thousands of product titles, we use Quantum to generate benefit-driven, descriptive titles at scale. Take a standard title like “Men’s Hiking Jacket – Green – L”. Quantum rewrites it to explain why the material matters, highlighting its wind resistance and packability for multi-day trails.
Quantum is our proprietary feed enhancement tool that leverages AI to analyse, enrich, test and scale feed attributes across text, images and video.
To localise all feed enrichments, we built custom AI prompts from scratch for each market. Each one was tuned to local nuances and the way outdoor shoppers in that country think and talk about gear. A product angle that connects with a UK trail runner lands quite differently for a German hiker.
Before any full rollout, we needed to prove the approach worked. We ran a six-week controlled A/B test using FeedX, Google’s open-source testing tool. Products were split into two randomised groups, one receiving the enriched feed and one left unchanged as a baseline. Halfway through, the groups switched. This switchback design removes statistical noise and ensures that any result you see is genuine, not a seasonal coincidence.
The risk was real. Moving away from attribute stacking, the industry-standard approach that Google’s algorithm is trained to reward, meant we were betting that descriptive, benefit-driven content would match our products to the right searches. If it didn’t, we’d lose impression share. The testing framework gave us the safety net to take that bet confidently.
A typical feed optimisation at this scale delivers a 3–8% performance uplift. These results were in a different league.
Across all four test markets, the AI-enriched feed generated a 21% increase in clicks annually and a 33% increase in conversions annually.
Efficiency held firm throughout. ROAS improved by nearly 3%, and cost-per-click fell in key markets. The ads were simply better matched to what people were searching for.
Germany stood out in particular, achieving a 57% increase in conversions during the test period. Organic search benefited too: clicks up 33% and click-through rate up 40%. This shows that higher-quality product data lifts the full funnel, and not just paid listings.
With the approach proven across four markets, RevolutionRace appointed s360 to manage Paid Search across all 40+ global markets.
